Stock front leaf spring installation
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to get a second opinion, I was told that the stock leaf springs are actually installed flipped over. I'm almost thinking this is true because I just received a set from GMCPauls and they are almost straight. Currently I have a 4" lift and they are sitting pretty much straight, with weight on them. I'm not sure I would get 4" of drop if they are not installed flipped over. If anyone can verify or post a picture of some stock springs installed, that would be much appreciated. Thanks PS.. First time I used GMCPauls and I was very impressed, quick shipping, good to work with, good prices. Last edited by BlazinKenK; 10-22-2009 at 04:32 PM. |

Re: Stock front leaf spring installation
The front springs are not installed "flipped over", but stock front springs do have a negative arch when the truck weight is on them.

Thanks Tim, I'm a lot more comfortable with this answer.
