Home Depot had it on an isle display. If I get a chance today I will go to Lowes and look to see if they sell it. It reflected heat like you wouldn't believe. Sound was reduced a good 30-40%. I plan to put it in everything I restore from now on.

Link to Home Depot, I paid $25.00 per roll when I bought it 2 yrs. ago.. This may be a different brand but same stuff. I used liquid nails to put it down since it was just an old work truck. I'm sure you could use headliner adhesive.

It is the stock bezel, RRC made a plate out of aluminum for the gauges to mount to.

Thanks, unfortunately we have run into some stalls. The blaster is overbooked so getting stuff out of them has been painful. My bed still hasn't been blasted and the scheduling wows have now spread to the painter. I hope to get the doors next week but the hood and cowl are still waiting their turn to go under the block.

Anyone know of a good blaster in the so-call area?

Not sure how that would work as a dynamat replacement. I have both in my garage - dynamat is heavy, foil-backed on one side, adhesive-backed on the other. I used it for sound deadening and improved bass response in my wife's car.
Reflectix is essentially bubble wrap that is foil-backed on both sides and is 5/16" thick - I've used it for wall insulation and winter window covering - but I"m not sure how durable it would be for a floor application. If it does work - it would be beneficial because it is considerably lighter (and cheaper!

) than dynamat.

Just my $0.02

it looks like the panels they sell only go about a foot up and the crunch is all the way to the belt line. Has anyone seen one of the patch panels, is there one that goes all the way up to the belt line?

On another note, we tried to fire up the engine today with no luck, fuel pump didn't kick on and it wouldn't fire. I'll be calling Current Performance on Monday to see what may be happening...

Looking good. WHat's the black stuff prior to the silver stuff? I'm familiar with the silver stuff. I assume you put it on with spray adhesive? But is the black stuff self adhesive or what?

Btw, save the receipts for the sound deadener(sp?) and you might be able to claim it on your taxes(if you are a homeowner--that stuff is considered insulation)...I know it's not real expensive but every little bit helps, right?

It's the Lowes peal and seal recommended by so many here. Like dynomat but not $$$. It had a sticky side that I put down before the silver stuff.
