I really need help on this one

I have a NOS black steering wheel, part number 9749596, I was told it was a NOS 67-68 wheel. Here is the problem. My stock wheel is 16 inches, this one measures 18. Also, the three spokes don't have the raised part at the hub, but one solid straight spoke from the centre. It otherwise looks like a 67-68. One thing though, I have a custom horn button, it is slightly larger in diameter than the centre hub??, is this c-20, 30, 40??
Help, what is this??

Re: I really need help on this one

Hi rob, was this the one on the bay a couple of weeks ago? If so, i saw it and it looked like a big truck wheel that was used well into the 70s. I hope i am wrong for your sake. Eric

it does sound like the big truck og the mid 70's. We used to have a fire truck that was a regular at work (diesel shop) it was a 76 C/60 if memory serves.

Re: I really need help on this one

If this is the same nos black wheel that e-bay seller "oemgmparts" auctioned off the end of last month then I'm sorry to inform you that one was for a big truck, the p/n you wanted should have been:

#9749393 - 67/68 Ser.10-30 (Black) (16-1/2") was $21.35-back in 72.
