Nice. You should do a build thread showing your fuel pump, harness mods etc. This is getting to be a popular swap.

Great job.

What headers are those? They look like they might be mid length Camaro headers.

Thanks. Looks like a good option for our trucks.

Is the K&N cold air intake form the same vintage truck too? That is one area I think needs the most work on all the swaps I have seen. Yours looks to fit pretty well. What did you have to do to make it fit?

yes its out of a 2004 truck i made a bracket so it would sit right with the hood closed !! i will take some pics and post how it looks and sits there was a hole about 4" right in front of it it was blocked off so i broke off the tabs holding it for extra air

Re: 1978 c10 5.3 conversion

Did you seal the box to the core support so it will only pull cool air from the front side of the core support and not short circuit the air box and pull heated engine compartment air in?

If you didn't you might be able to do it with a section of tubing and bolt it to the air box and core support.

It's a pretty impressive improvement getting cool air into the engine all the time and is worth the effort to do it since you are so close all ready.
