looks like a 25cc Monojet leurlok? Beautiful work!!!!
Don is a anesthetist, so getting a syringe/needle to play with is easy. for the lay person, check with your doctor, nurse, medical supply store, or pharmacy.

Re: Emblems and badges restoration
thats alot neater way of doing that than i have done, I just spray em and wipe the high spots off with laquer thinner, good idea!

Re: Emblems and badges restoration
Looks good, did you put any thinner under the paint first to help it spread, or just put the laquer in?

Re: Emblems and badges restoration
I tried at first to put the laquer thinner in it first but the paint seemed to swarm on me so I just tried the paint out of the can and seemed to work just fine if I went slow and did not try to rush it. The paint was so viscous that as soon as I held the needle down, paint flowed out of it nice and slow. I did have to use two different syringes because after the first one was done, the paint seemed to get a little thicker and would not flow as well, but in a new syringe, paint flowed nicely. Be sure and fill the 3cc syringe up with 2cc of paint to give you a little pressure behind the paint flow in the needle.

Re: Emblems and badges restoration
Looks good Don, I have been thinking about Joel's way, and to me, if you use thinner to pool into the emblem, it will break down the paint quite a bit, leaving less durability, but I don't know since I haven't tried that method. Trevor
