ralley wheel question

I currently have the ralley wheel with 4x4 centercaps on my 69' 6lug. I want to change the center caps to the corvette style but I'm not sure how they attach. do they also use the screws? If I change I know I'll need to get smaller lugs but will they work on my rims. thanks for everyones help

Re: ralley wheel question

I didn't think that car rally caps would snap onto truck rally's. I don't think they have the little bumps in the center area like the car ones do.

The ones above are car rally's (aftermarket with correct lug pattern for the truck) which is why they work fine.

Re: ralley wheel question

Corvette caps just snap on. I don't believe they work on truck rallys, but I could be wrong.

Re: ralley wheel question

Car ralley caps will not work. You can only use caps that bolt on from the front or screw in from behind. I have late model 6 lug chromed plastic Chevy caps on mine that I screwed in from behind. They are much lower profile than the ones you have and look good. Much better for a lowered and/or 2wd truck.

Re: ralley wheel question

They don't bolt-on but they can. A guy I used to work with fabbed a bracket that used the 3 holes that secured the OE caps for an adapter bracket that the car/derby caps would use to keep them secured. Look @ some car/vette ralley wheels & you can get an idea of what it might take. His set-up was pretty basic & looked like an inverted bar-stool.
