Dash interior lights

My instrument lights do not turn on when i pull the light switch. I bought a new light switch and when i was messing with the wiring one of the bulb housings came in contact with the metal on the dash and turned on.... I can do it with all the bulbs that should illuminate the instrument panel. But they do not work otherwise?!!! Any ideas???

Re: Dash interior lights

It sounds like your headlight switch is not grounded at the dash. Try removing it and establishing a good ground where it attaches to the dash bezel.
