Question Which bulb is right?

Which of the following is correct? I found some of each in my gauge panel and I need to replace them. Where can I get the bulbs and holders(?)?

The one on the left is correct. You can get the bulbs and holders from you local auto parts store. Bulb part number is SYLVANIA 194 not sure of the part # for the holder . I hope this helps....

While the 194 is correct...I have found some of the round ones too....
I wonder what they came out of and why they make way into our trucks?

I wonder if they were aftermarket replacements for busted or missing holders?

you can also use #168 lamps.... they are 1/3 brighter than the #194 and they are the same phyical size... The # 168 works great for the side marker lamps also !!...........Jim
