I'd toss soem sand, bags or otherwise, in the bed even with the tools and the bumper. it comes in handy having something to put down for traction if you need it. I've gotten myself unstuck before with nothing more than a couple shovel fulls of the stuff.

I am really surprised you guys din'r raze me about the girlfriend taking the coffee maker away. Leads me to believe that most of you are already married.

Well after a couple storms I have done pretty good. I can't wait to get rear steering though. I have also learned do the most you can without turning your truck around.
