My New Truck... 72 C-10
I recently sold the 94 in my avatar & I now have its replacement.
I have changed a few little things already, and started detailing a little on the new truck. I am ordering a lowering kit for it next week, its 2/4'd now but I need it a little lower. Just thought I'd share a few pics with you guys. Last edited by JWall; 12-05-2009 at 05:07 PM. |

Looks super nice, going to be a whole different ride than your other truck. IMO you went in the right direction.

This is exactly what I have been looking for...where did you find it? Was it on CL? Hard to find a good one that is not overpriced...Would you like to let us all know what you paid?
Great looking truck..

Thats the dark blue, #523. Just like mine, minus the 2-tone. I love it! Very nice truck.

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
Looks real nice the way it is. Cant wait to see it lower, and I would also paint the top part of the grill insert black, the little tab pieces that are in the back part at the top

VERY Nice!!! I'm looking forward to seeing future progress. How much more are you gonna lower it? What other plans do you have for it?

Just thought I'd share a few pics with you guys. Hey JWall ... very very nice lookin truck. I also like your stance as it is but thats just me. A word of caution ... with the wheels that you have if you lower it more you might have an issue with your ralley wheels rubbing the control arms (?) when you turn. I had this issue until I swithced my wheels to TT II's. Others can chime in on this possible issue.

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
Thanks for the compliments!
I am going to go to a 4/6 so it'll be about 2" lower all the way around. 70cst - I have read about trimming the lower control arms for the rallys. I am fimilar with this from the 88-98s also. |

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
Good deal ... if you eventually go with other wheels a 4 1/2" back spacing solves this issue. Either way you have a super lookin truck.

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
Love that ride I wish I could find a 67 cst in that shape. Hope you don't do to much to it. Sometimes people get a little wild for my taste, but to each their own right. oldno7

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
The plan is really just lower it a little more and leave the interior and exterior pretty stock. I've always like the stock appearance on these trucks.
The 2 things I have not decided on yet are if I am going to start putting chrome under the hood, and I havent really decided on what to do as far as wheels yet either. I like the rallys but I may eventually do something else. |

Re: My New Truck... 72 C-10
I used to not be a big fan of the lowered look, preferring the old fashioned stock look instead. Now I like the look with the right wheels. Good luck, you have a very nice looking truck.
