Here's a shot of how they look underneath.
wow first off, you have a gorgeous truck. i have a question about your motor dress up; what kind of paint did you use on your valve covers and intake mani? it looks really good.

Or,you could read all the suggestions and try those. It`s been well explained,I think, already.

Re: Show me your headers

combustion, thanks for the compliment. As for the paint, it's called Cast Coat Iron. It's engine enamel made by Dupli-Color. It's available at Advanced Auto Parts.

Auto Zone used to carry it, but they switched to Rustoleum brand. They offer the same color, but I don't know how close it is.

Re: Show me your headers

Definitely the shorties. I have JBA's that I got for free. No ground clearance issues. One plug was a pain to change, modified a cheap spark plug socket and no problems.

It's been awhile since I've posted but a set of Sanderson's arrived yesterday and I went to put them on this morning. The driver side fit perfect but appears that it will be difficult to change the rear spark plug. The passenger side won't bolt up the cylinder head because it's up against the frame. I'm using the original motor mounts which are new on a 5.7 liter out of a 90 silverado in a 1972 chassie. Viewing the pictures of the Sanderson headers in this thread it doesn't appear that anyone had this issue. Hope I've given enough info so someone can help or give me advice. Thanks John.
