Removing tension from rear leaf springs

I am going to take off the rear leaf springs and would like to know where I should jack it up to remove the tension from the leafs. I have a 75' with the 8 leafs that sit on top of the axle.

Thanks

Re: Removing tension from rear leaf springs

Jack it up by the axle and put a large jack stand on each frame rail in the rear.
