cutting a frame for a short bed
ok i have a 85 crew cab and i want to know how much to cut out of the frame to make it a short bed i know you can use the short wheel base frame back half but i may use the 3/4 ton frame and cut it i dont know yet

14" between the forward most bed hole and spring hangers, 6" off the very back of the frame.

Thanks man I want to change it to 1/2 runing gear so I may do like every one else and use the short bed back half just don't know. Witch one is safer
