67-72chevytrucks.com Calendar Proposal

Not sure if this has been proposed, but I know that we can purchase basic calendars in the Merchandise section. I am proposing that who ever is in charge of the merchandise, possibly could put together a calendar for 2010 with the 2009 Trucks of the Month photos. Any one else like this idea or not like this idea?

I added a poll to the thread, please vote if you want. This may help to get it pushed into a real thing and will give an idea of people interested. Thanks for the responses guys.

Re: 67-72chevytrucks.com Calendar Proposal

To be fair ... I like the idea but with 2010 just around the corner I don't think it would be feasible to put one together in such a short time frame.

I don't mind it being a little late. And if not this year, maybe next year?

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I think that this should be discussed with Josh and Liz also. They are their boards after all and there may be copyright things to consider. WES

By all means. Of course. Im not trying to do this myself, I am suggesting that the higher ups might put it together and sell it on the board.

Michael....take a look at this thread I started back in 2008....same idea!!!

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=293798

I think to get it done, someone will need to take it and run with it (kinda like what Zumo did with the t-shirts)....as wll as what Wes said about checking with Josh and Liz (they got way too much going on to produce these...J&L I'm not speaking for you by any means)....especially to use their Logo, web site name, etc....as well as the ToTM winners....

Cool idea though....I guess great minds think alike!!

Re: 67-72chevytrucks.com Calendar Proposal

Somebody "seriously" proposed this a year or two ago, maybe longer? There was a really long thread on it, and in the end, nothing ever happened with it. Someone ending up making a pretty nice, simple 12 month .pdf calendar that was emailed free to everyone.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. That's a bummer that nothing ever happened with it.

That is an idea as well. I sent a PM to Josh so that maybe we can figure something out. I'll let everyone know what we can come up with, if anything.

Don't think I'm trying to discourage you, I hope you DO do it. I was just disappointed last time, and a lot of others were too.

I found the old thread I was referring to:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...alendar&page=6

Check out post #143, maybe you can do something similar?
