Not on the coy's. My cousin has some of the chrome ones and they aren't like the old chrome wheels. They look good.

Re: Chrome or Polished?

I think it depends on how you view your truck.

For me, if I were to replace my wheels (which will happen in the next year or so because I hate my current wheels) it's gonna be polished, not chrome, because I really don't care if it's a lot of work to keep clean. This is my show truck. My baby. I know that's weird because my truck is a lifted monster, but it's a classic truck from the 70's and every decision I make is going to have aesthetics in mind. It really doesn't matter to me if maintenance is harder, I will always choose whatever looks better when it's at its best.

Now, if we were talking about my daily driver, then it's a whole different story.

Re: Chrome or Polished?

I will never have another set of chromed aluminum wheels. Don't know if it is because of the chinese materials or what, but I have seen too many sets pit and/or peel. The ones on my daily driven Tacoma included. With a powerball, the polished ones aren't that bad to keep up.
