WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

I am looking for the following items for my 72 blazer.

Blazer front bucket seats with the brackets and P/S side hold down.

Blazer rear seat with brackets (No longer looking for this item!!)

Nice bazer rear hatch with glass, also need the pieces that keep the hatch open.

Tinted side glass for single wall blazer top (No longer need this item!!)

CST Blazer front and rear chrome carpet hold down (can be driver quality, but no pitting and no rust.)

CST Blazer chrome moulding that goes on top of side panels. (can be driver quality, but no pitting and no rust)

Also to a lesser extent I am needing clean 72 truck doors. On the doors I only want panels that have absolutely no rust thrus (not even a pinhole) and only minor dents. The doors I can usually find at local swap meets for about $75-125 per door, but thougt I would look here first. Not wanting to ship the doors since decent sheetmetal is plentiful in TX and they are huge; so only doors in the Houston or Dallas area, possibly stuff from the S.A. and Austin areas as well.

I would like to find all of the larger items locally to save on shipping costs; but I am willing to pay shipping for the blazer seats depending on shipping costs and price and quality of the item. I dont care what shape the covering is in but would like for the seat frames and padding to be in good shape. I would prefer no matter how damaged the seats still be in their original upholstery. I dont mind paying for restored or high quality used seats if they are white; since that is the color seats I am needing. Just let me know what you have.

Thanks!!

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

1956cameo,

I have a rear seat and brackets that would need to be recovered. Overall, other than the original seat cover, I think the foam and frame are in great shape. I'll get you some pictures and PM you with them. Oh yeah, I'm in Midlothian (about 30 miles south of Dallas). Pearland shows to be about 4 hours away. I'm sure we could meet half way for alittle gas money.

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

14u2nv, I am interested. Could you post some pictures here or PM me some pictures of the seat and brackets. Also what price are you asking for the seat.

I may be getting a set of front fenders and radiator core support from ShanesChevys in Ft. Worth so if that deal and yours goes thru I could just drive up and get it. Just let me know. Thanks!!

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

Blazeraddict, Thanks for the heads up. If those were white I would be getting your paypal info right now. They are very nice and at a great price. If the leads I have right now on solid restorable seats don't pan out and these are still for sale I may be contacting you.

You still looking for a side glass for you single wall? I have a few out of double walls floating around and I believe they are the all the same. Not sure if they are factory tint or not but I will look.

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

Ok,I understand.I figured I`d let you know it`s here if you can`t find one closer. Are you near enough to a Greyhound station? It may not run that much with them.Maybe if you can`t find a hatch locally you can find a window close and save some weight.

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

I do have a drivers side glass out of a junk double wall but it's clear. If you want it, it's yours, just pay shipping and handeling...or come get it. I think Jtrux has another old top with both sides good, but they are clear also. Don't know if you are dead set on a factory tinted one or not.

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

I would have liked tinted, but seeing how I am working with a busted out window right now and you are offering such a nice deal I am thinking clear is fine. I am pressed for time right now but will PM you later about getting the glass. Thanks!!

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

UPDATE ON ALL THE REPLIES!!

Buying the rear blazer seat from 14U2NV, so no longer looking for that.

Going to get the side blazer top glass from Critter if he is still willing to help out. Thanks Critter. I will PM you in a bit.

Have good lead on front buckets from blazer addict, woody mm3, and a few others that have PM'd me. Still waiting to see if anyone in my area has any front buckets so I can save on shipping.

Have a good lead on rear hatch from Special K, but once again trying to see if anyone in my area has one to save on shipping.

If anyone else has anything close or away please feel free to let me know what you have. Thanks everyone!

Re: WTB: 72 Blazer Parts

Anyone from central Texas to western Louisiana have any blazer buckets or rear hatch? Asking before committing to something I have to pay shipping expenses on.

Also Special K, I don't know of any greyhound stations personally, but I can assure you that Houston has to have one somewhere near me.
