Re: Easy come, easy go
For me, it's not the cold that bugs me but the wind. I've been outside in just a shirt-jacket when the temps were in the teens, but it was sunny, and the wind wasn't blowing.
Concerning the snow; I'm thinking my mother lied to me.....well, maybe she didn't lie, maybe she didn't know any better, but she told me when I was a kid that every snowflake was different. Granted, I've never found any two alike, but....well, frankly I've quit looking. It's too hard to seperate a shovel full of snowflakes just to make comparisons. And when you get close enough to see them, they melt!

Re: Easy come, easy go
We've had snow now for two weeks which is a long time over here in recent years we've had a good foot or so. Its been damn cold too, down to about -10C last night, ice inside the windows behind the curtains this morning. We've got more snow forecast tonight tomorrow and the cold is set to continue for another week or two.
