T-5 Users, Shifter Help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Greetings,
We have purchased a T-5 for our 72'. So we could use some help in the shifter department. Knowing that the shifter will need to be longer that the S-10 style. What shifter works the best?

Use the S-10 tail shaft and top shifter plate. Then any Hurst shifter will be able to bolt to the shifter stub 2 hole.
Be very careful with the T-5. They are only rated 295 ftlb of torque and they are not kidding. I have torn up 3 T-5 with my 327 in a 68.
If I had to do it over, I would save my money an buy the Tremec TKO 600
my 2 cents.

you can build whatever type of hanhle you wish and just bolt it up to the tab
