thanks guys
Well it is an old farm truck, it definitely needs work, but it looks good from about 10 feet, but has the typical rust, the guy who had it before me was just fed up with it, he couldnt get it to run right and the brakes in the back were giving him fits, so i bought it. Cleaned the points, pumped out the old gas, and the reason it didnt want to start was because the didnt have the manual choke setup. So i hooked that up, and it just purred like a kitten. Also the spray paint is just some metallic/chrome spray paint i had laying around, so i shot it on there turned out pretty well. Also one of the reason the brakes were scary in the back was because they didnt even have a drum on the one side! WOW talk about scary. So got new brake pads and got a drum and now the rear brakes are good, time to tackle the front.
thanks
John

Good project truck. I enjoy looking at the background with no snow and appreciating what a great "non-winter" we have had here in Iowa.
