Are blazer and suburban gas tanks different?

So I have a 70 blazer and a 70 suburban. I need a new tank for my blazer, and the one on the suburban is good. I would like to use it, but was wondering if they were different? It seems that the suburban one has a indentation running across the top of it like it's meant to fit around a crossmember.

So are they actually different and will it fit?

This is the Suburban gas tank. You can see it on the bottom of the picture.

Re: Are blazer and suburban gas tanks different?

Good. This is what I wanted to hear. I have a 90 blazer 31 gal tank I want to use when I finally get it assembled, but I'd like to use this while I am working on the other stuff so I can move it around the garage. The drivetrain works fine, Just off a gas can, so I'd rather have a factory tank instead of the can.
