bucket seat mount question
I am considering buying some utility buckets for my blazer. Is the female bracket the bolts to the passenger side floor (locks the seat down) the same for both sport and utility. In other words, are they likely to be found? I think I only need the one piece (assuming the seats I am interested in have all of the others). Thanks.

Re: bucket seat mount question
The release lever on the utility buckets in this thread is in the center similar to the regular buckets. I have a passenger side utility bucket where the release lever is on the far passenger side. I can get a picture of the bracket for mine if it would help.

Re: bucket seat mount question
Thanks. I'm pretty sure the latch is on the back of these. I am waiting on a few more pictures of the seats before I pull the trigger. The concern is pulling the trigger knowing I'm going to have to find a bracket. I'm just wondering whether the utility and the sport buckets use the same bracket. I'm thinking same bracket = easier to come by. If they end up being like yours I'll definitely take you up on that. Thanks.

Re: bucket seat mount question
I just picked up a set of drivers side seat tracks for the passenger side
LMK if badpeanut can't help you out, cause I have both types of passenger seat brackets. There are two differant hieghts of utility seats. I could post them up for sale and let you know

Re: bucket seat mount question
The bracket on the right is for my regular (not utility) buckets in my '71 Blazer. The bracket on the left is for my utility bucket which has the release lever on the far passenger side. Since these brackets are identical I think we can conclude that they will be in your case, too.

All rite I'll keep an eye out for it. There isn't much interest in the utility seats, so you may get a good deal. Low n slow gave me a set of frames w/metal backs for nothing, 6t727t2 sold me a set of seats w/ good foam for 200, and the extra seat tracks I bought from krazy ray for 25 shipped to the rite coast Good people on the board! Exact matrl. is available to redo them, the embossed matrl. sells for about 80/yd. Thankfully you only need about 2 yds. Got pics of the ones you're thinking of buying? prices on my parts should be cheap or free, you pay shipping! But, I have to warn you, I do nothing in a hurry
