67 hood on 71

Is there a how to on doing this? anyone have pictures of it done? I searched but due to the lack of words... (71, on, 67) the search feature doesnt work so well, so i apologize.

The 67 & 68 hoods are totally different than the 69 to 72's. They have more of a slope to them than the later ones. Not saying that it can't be done but without tons of work and custom fabrication it would take alot of work. Everybody I've seen just puts the whole front clip on, (fenders, grille, hood, and core support). Hope this helps.... I turn all of mine over to the 67, 68 front end just cause I like it so much more.

oh i could have sworn i read somewhere of putting the 67 hood on a 71 type front. it would be easier to switch the whole clip over, just thought that it had been done many times with the 70-72 front

yes it can be done look in the FAQ section theres is a write up on it there it just takes a little time is all.
