looking for an old thread
Hey guys...from what I understand at one time there was a post on here somewhere of my truck when it was on ebay...in it's original hubcap, 6 cylinder form. Just wondering if anyone remembers it or if anyone ever saved any pics...I would like to see what it looked when it was all original...

Re: looking for an old thread
if it was posted by you search all posts by you if it was posted by someone else spend the day going back to about a month before you bought it and start looking for ebay threads or other key words about your truck

Re: looking for an old thread
I remember the thread, but don't remember who made the original post.Talk to Frank Monroe. He almost bought the truck from the original owner. He might have saved the pics.

Re: looking for an old thread
There was at least one thread titled "I want this truck!" It had one pic in it but the pic was already photochopped . I will search my computer to see if there are any saved .

It was a custom order truck, and when the dealer got it they installed a car 4-speed in it and then the customer picked it up, He was TWA pilot and had a heated and carpeted garage |

Re: looking for an old thread
I do not believe that is the same truck. CHROMAHOLIC's truck was bought by Crawdadfox in Arizona. Then he added the BIG 10 decals, I do not remember them being there before Crawdadfox had it. CHROMAHOLICS truck is a 77 with yellow trim, the other has black.

Re: looking for an old thread
i know its not the same truck, the truck 74 C30 posted was owned by a TWA pilot for 30 years, then a collector had it for a year and a half and then it was at a dealership in maine for 6 months until my boss bought it.
You should see the stack of papers that came with that truck edit: and that truck is also a 78 Last edited by 95 S_Trucker; 01-29-2010 at 05:42 PM. |

Re: looking for an old thread
I had the whole add saved for a while but it was deleted by accident. You should have seen the size of cactus needles that were in the bed! Looking at the stock photo's kind of makes me regret cutting it up........NOT!!

Re: looking for an old thread
no, unfortunately no progress yet....Just happy it's at the shop. Still working on what brakes I am going to run and I have to change the control arms and the spindles so I can run the bigger brakes. Wilwoods won't work on the Belltech 3" drop spindles so out they come and the Cpp spindles will move my front tires in 3/4" on each side and I don't want to move them in any more than they are so the upper and lower control arms are coming out and I am having new ones made that will keep my wheels where I want them. It's one thing after another...but that's what this hobby is all about...
