Just Venting
I wish I could afford NOS parts for my 67, but I keep getting out bidded on ebay. I guess I just need to stick with repo parts, or have a endless supply of money.

Re: Just Venting
I use bidnapper.com It sucks to have to used sniping software but after getting sniped repeatedly I decided to fight back. Now I rarely lose an action. It also keeps me from getting caught up in emotional bidding.

Re: Just Venting
esnipe works well...
Frustrating when you lose an auction by a few dollars...leaves you sitting there thinking, "crap, I would have paid $5 more for that". |

Re: Just Venting
im going all nos made in america on my truck as i plan on keeping it forever!!! so im biting the bullet and paying extra.... it took me 2 1/2 months just to find nos suspension for my 72. but its well worth it. althou i will have thousands of dollars more in it than it than it would sell for im not in it for the money....but with nos my grandson will drive it 30 years from now.. i know a person that replaced the left ball joint and tie rod with "parts from another country" and with in 2 years it went bad again!.. i seen a motormount from china that the bolt hole didnt line up... found it out after a 2 hour battle trying to install it.. nothing but nos for me at any cost! right now in waiting for nos brake hardware. 2-weeks. yep.... all gm -- nos... just my .02

Re: Just Venting
you won't find everything NOS but finding rust free OEM is just as good, and cheaper (usually the same cost as aftermarket too).
doors, hoods, tailgates are a few items that you really want to keep original... some reproductions just don't work...
