Re: Your Garage

I own an auto repair shop, so I have 6600 sq ft available, but when I am at home, and my girls are watching stupid reality show, or project take off, I am here with my best friend. My home garage has heat and A/C, oh yea and a lift. 1200 sq ft, concrete block that was filled solid, killer stereo, frig, and a full bathroom.

Re: Your Garage

This is the place we will be moving to. The shed is a 40x64 and the garage is a 24x36 heated and insulated. It will be an improvement over the 24x32 I have now.

Re: Your Garage

I can match Beatcoaster for garage size and trump him for stuff inside the garage. I've got to do some major cleanup this weekend as I have another engine bought that for sure has to be inside. I'm going to have to quit buying more engines and tools and equipment or build a bigger shop.

Re: Your Garage

you guys $#@%,,,,,,

i have an 8x8 shed.........my mini workbench and my grandpa's tool upright tool chest down one side, 2 full size motorcycles, bicycle, cycle (hitch) carrier, all my tools, car parts, stool, etc, etc. i can't even get into it now. my 72 burb sits out in front with only a tarp to keep off the snow and my 86 aries wagon sits at my parents house in even worse shape. i really wish i had indoor accommodations for my valued rides. i have future plans for a multi bay garage with a rec room upstairs.....when i find it in the budget! its ok for my daily driver to sit outside 'cause the garage has to go down the other end of my lot anyways.

Here is where the magic happened... 14x20 with an attached (closed-in) carport.

Re: Your Garage

Man there are some nice garages, and I'm amazed at what some guys can do in small shops. Also, most of these pics show some nice rigs too.

All of these shops put mine to shame right now.....It's an unbelievable mess. I think I will start a build thread on my shop........ and when it's done do a build thread on my truck. (If I can get my photos to download to the site).

You said it!!! I have a nice big shop now but I built my truck in the old garage using a 10x20 storage tent in the driveway for the teardown process and then for parts once I moved the "build" into the garage. It's possible but, with a small space, you have to stay really organized or you spend most of your time looking for things.

Hey, I've got an original Texaco oil enamel sign in my garage exactly the same as the one sticking out from the pillar, also in French. Mine came from a flea market in France.
