Get thee behind me Satan.....
Just seen a 22,000 mile LS7 from a ZO6 Corvette for sale on Ebay here in the UK, the guy is also selling the six speed box to go with it, shame its five grand sterling for just the engine and the box is a seperate sale by negotiation. Anyone want to buy two three year olds?

Send 'em on over, Phil, we'll have our vet check their teeth & hooves and......
Oh wait, you meant your children. Nevermind, raised three already and not yet ready to do it again. Good luck with the sale though!

Wouldn't that be a fun project? You could rally haul with that LS7.

Re: Get thee behind me Satan.....
According to google 5,000 Sterling is about 7,800 U.S. dollars. A lot of money any way you cut it...

Yeah, I sure don't think you will find one here for $7800. I've seen a couple used ones for around $9500.

Re: Get thee behind me Satan.....
Just nicely run it a 22,000 miles as well. Mind you, by the time you've bought the gearbox, aftermarket ECU, exhaust etc you're not gonna have much change from ten/twelve grand sterling I'd have thought. Plus I guess the manual drums might not be up to the job of stopping it!
Still it's nice to dream! That reminds me I need to buy a ticket for the Euromillions lottery, jackpot is up to 110 million quid today.

No, no, didn't say engine wasn't worth the price, especially a complete engine. I was referring to this being a lot of money to spend these days.
Especially when the economy is in the tank.. I don't think a lot of us have $8K just sitting around. |
