Need help with front end conversion.

I have a 84 chevy with the dual headlights that sit on top of eachother. are the core supports the same for the 90 suburban and my truck? or do i need to find a different core support.

Re: Need help with front end conversion.

If you want to do the Burb conversion, you will need to change the core support too.

yep, core supports are different...a "few" have converted them to accept the 91 style, but it just looks like too much work for me and my lazy a$$

its not that hard to change the support over....just need to splice some wires, and it all bolts right in place...i have it down to a few hours now a days

My website is off line at the moment. I used as a guide when I did my conversion: http://www.coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtml

You might consider buying a complete Burb and parting it out. If you can find one at a decent price, selling the remaining parts might be allow you to do the conversion for free.
