Re: buddy bucket seat seat where is the best place to buy?

Bucket seats 69-72 foams are around $400-500. I imagine the buddy buckets are close to that for the foam. It might be more expensive for buddy buckets, but I imagine they are around there. I know it was either Wes (Classic Heartbeat) or Frank from up in Washington that makes a better deal than most that I remember. You will still have most of that $400 I am sure into a set. Trevor

GMCPaul's is another board vendor that carries the 67-8 buddy bucket seat foam. His run @ $250 a seat.

You could also take it to a local upholstery shop. Would probably cost the same installed.

Re: buddy bucket seat seat where is the best place to buy?

Foam prices are ridiculous. I rebuild my own from donor seats or scrap foam. Just cut to fit, contact cement in place and shape with an electric (turkey) carving knife. Finish it off with a layer of 1/4" or 1/2" scrim foam found at any upholstery supply shop. Easy to do and saves hundreds...
