BIG 67 chevy project

Well I just got a 67 chevy 2wd and it looks like it will be one big project! Came with a bunch of extra parts and from the looks of it, its a good thing. Going to take a while to restore. Has a 327SB with a TH350.

Cab is in pretty bad condition with lots of rust and the rest of the body has lots of bondo on it. I'm thinking about throwing some tubs in the rear and you can imagine the rest that follows!

Just getting it cleaned out will make a lot of difference. Then you can go over it real good and see exactly what it needs.

Thats what I was looking at. Right now its seems a mess, but you can't beat it for free. Should be a fun project. Taking everything apart once I roll the Birds out of the shop.

I noticed that. It has a lot of donor parts on it. The guy I got it from had no clue about the pickup and what to do with it. I can always use it as a parts pickup if it turns out to be to much of a hassle.

Re: BIG 67 chevy project

some suppliers only have the fenders w/side markers, so the one w/out are more expensive. go figure!!!

Re: BIG 67 chevy project

My 67 had 68 fenders on it when I got it. I would have left them on, except the fenders were rusted-out. I bought a pair of Tri Plus 1967 fenders from So. KY Classics. IIRC, their 67 fenders were the same price as the other year fenders.

The fenders look good, but I have not installed them yet.
