body swaps
hey guys, i picked up an 85 chevy not to long ago and the bodys shot. so both me and my dad are fans of the 67-72 bodystyle and he would like to have the automatic trans and power steering and all that fun stuff. i know the swap has been done befor, but i never seem to have luck with the search featur so anyone that could point me in the right direction or give me some tips on how to attack this project would be greatly appreciated.

Around here these swaps are usually on 4x4 trucks and most of them I have seen are pretty crude.
The biggest problem is getting the cab and bed lined up right so that they are square and even with each other. You will have to do a lot of fitting and mount making to get that right. |
