fleet side bed question

wanted to get rid of my step side bed, its all torn up.

and i found a 77 fleet side bed, wanted to know if it would fit on my 82 frame?

It will but you need to get the fuel filler hose and cap assemblies that go with the bed . 77 used a round gas cap and the 82 would have had a gas door . I think the tank venting is also different .

that would prolly have to be rewired i dont believe there is a plug to the rear but it should be straight forward and the same color codes
