how much for a sheet of 16 guage polished ss

i can get a 4x8 sheet of 16 guage #4 polished stainless steel, for $248 anyone know if that is a good deal or not?? i want to make a fuel cell out of it ?

stainless will not corrode like aluminum. What are you doing with it?

I think it polishes up nicer and doesn't seem to tarnish as easily.But,you will probably want to TIG weld it to make it look good and seal well.Stainless is not easy to bend,or work and you need to be sure the type of atinless you were quoted can be worked into the shape you want.
