taking out leafs
most of you guys that have done it so far seems to have taken out 2. i wanna take out 2 and replace the shackles. ive done this before, but with no prior knowledge. which 2 am i taking out and whats the easiest solution for a new bolt through them? does everyone just round the head off a new one so it sits in the perch right, or allen head or what? i think i grinded mine but would rather use something that i didnt have to.

Take the thickest two leafs out and use an allen head bolt to replace your old one. Grade 8 or 10.9 though.

I reused the old bolt, cut it shorter and just added thread to it with a die. Lastly I just rounded the top a lil bit with a grinder so it would grab.

hmm hadnt thought of that, think ill buy some though, i can eyeball the nut and get the right size bolt with fine thread and locknut. i can measure how long i need also.
