Is "Custom Camper" the same as "Longhorn"?
If a 1972 GMC had the "Custom Camper" equipment and emblems, does that mean it must also be a 133" wheelbase?
That's sort of what the 1972 decoding here indicates: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=10 Put another way, can a 1972 "Custom Camper" have #59 model type, or would it automatically have to be a #60 (longer bed)? Thanks, Dave

GMC called there 133 inch wheelbase fleet side pickup the custom camper.
There was also an option package for the regular pickups called custom camper. You can see where the confusion lies. Does the beed look to be extended 6 inches in front? |
