10 Bolt rear end

I need your help, I have a 10 bolt rear in my truck now but wanted to swap it as it is not posi nor disc. I just found a posi rear 10 bolt that was under a 67 chevy camaro. He got the car with the rear and is not sure what it is from but that it is on the camaro. My question is how do I know from the rear what it is out of? I know to crack the back and divide the numbers for the ratio or count the rotations. The guy is building a 600+ hp and is taking it out so maybe I got lucky. Not disc but I can get the kit if I know it is a camaro. Figured it is cheaper than changing out my rear end. Thanks for the help. It is 0 inches wheel to wheel according to the guy selling it. Thanks again.
