check out my original color!

Got me a good deal, grabbed 3 almost brand new cab clearance lenses, pads, and screws from the junkyard, along with 3 inside door lock knobs (2 black, 1 chrome) for $12. One of the screws used to hold the driver's side lens had broken off and rusted into the hole. Had to drill it out and tap a new hole, but other than that it was easy job. I also got to find out what my truck's yellow should look like underneath one of the old lenses:

Go out there tomorow between thunder storms and wax it. You'd be amazed at the outcome!
These were taken almost 2 years ago...but you get the idea.

I think that is the exact same yellow that my '72 came with originally. It's really faded now and everyone thinks it is light green, but the glove box sticker says Lt. Yellow/Olive Green. It's definitly a unique color combo. I've only ever seen one other truck with this combo (lt. yellow w/ olive top). It's also a highlander too, so it's got the Avacodo plaid seats. It's a "colorful" truck I guess you could say. Sticks out like a sore thumb.
