turn signal ???
Got a 69 and the signals are jacked up, the left side just comes on dont flash, when i put the right on both signals and the tag light flashes, and with the hazards on they all flash like they are supposed to. A friend of mine told me that changin the signal switch would probably fix it but just got that done today and no change, oh and btw sometimes they work right any thoughts??? thanks

Sounds like a bad ground.

Re: turn signal ???
I agree... you have a bad ground in the turn signal circuit. Check both front and rear.

Re: turn signal ???
I think it is a ground because I had the exact same thing with mine. Also, I don't think a bad flasher would affect the license plate light.

Re: turn signal ???
You have to make sure that all the sockets are clean and grounded to the body. If just one isn't, the lights don't work right.

Re: turn signal ???
I wouldn't suspect the flasher, it uses the same one for both sides so it is working properly if it flashes at all. Most likely you have a bad ground and the power is flowing through the bulb but not to ground. Since the bulbs are dual filament and both filaments are grounded together the power is feeding back through the park lamp filament and circuit to another ground.
