2nd road trip, rod knock
I went into Phoenix today to take a drive. Second trip on the freeways so feelin pretty confident. Goin to SoCal AZ just to look. Newly freshened 327. Truck runs and drives nice. Soaking up 3 longs years of work. Pull off the freeway and finally there it is. Unmistakeably a rod knock. Oil pressure down a bit so I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Got it towed home, havent dug into it yet. Bummed but not too bad, I still enjoyed the ride there and I have another 327 crank. Just hate to pull it back out again.

Re: 2nd road trip, rod knock
I'm thinking I should have replaced the rod bolts.
