Wheel well moldings

Guys I have seen two trucks with smooth wheel well moldings, but all I can find new have the stripe in them. What had the smooth? Jay

The suburbans went to the smooth trim in 89 or so .

That is correct. 89-91 burbs and blazers had a smooth wheel well molding. They look sharp on the pickups. LMC sells a decent reproduction.

i bought the lmc one for the truck and they look like crap and fit even worse.

A buddy of mine has some on his pickup that he ordered from LMC. He did say the holes didn't line up and they seem to be thicker than the originals. I thought they looked decent on there, but nothing beats OEM.

I'll post a pic tomorrow of his moldings.
