Looky what came by my house

The guy that owns this truck just got done restoring it. It's an original 67 CST with the Panoramic rear window. He bought the truck in 1972 when he was 22 yrs. old. It was originally a 283/TOT combo. He had the 283 rebuilt and put a TH350 tranny in it. The original color was the light met. blue, but the color now on it is a 66 Corvette blue color. He didn't remember the name. It also originally had a bench seat, but his brother who worked at a Chevy dealership in Atlanta, got him the NOS buddy buckets. :O

He came by to show it off Saturday, so I took some pics to share with ya'll.

Enjoy.

I wasn't real crazy about the upholstered dash, but it is different.

Beautiful truck -- looks right at home in your driveway with your '68!

That color looks a lot like my old '65 Corvette -- it was called Nassau Blue.

Very nice, although I'm kind of diggin' the stepper in the background.

Can you post some more pictures of that?

That bag of trash on the passenger side is sweet!

Seriously, that is an awesome truck.

Beautiful truck. I do like the buckets. Is it tweed? There is too much blue everywhere, should have went with a different color inside. Looks good though. Tell him to stop by this site and say hi to everyone.

Re: Looky what came by my house

I would call it customized instead of restored. Nicely customized. And an A+ on the follow through. The tweed may not be for everyone, but the theme is complete. Nicely done.

Yeah, I won't haul trash in the bed of my truck anymore. I definitely won't put it inside. I'm not sure what that was about.

It has a blazer tank with the fuel filler in the bed. I forgot to mention that.
