vintec dish

i have a set of 20' billet specialties vintec dish whees and i'm trying to find lug nuts that set flush in the hole so the caps will go all the way on. I've tried just about every 14x1.5 open end lug nut out there. the truck is a 02 silverado. has anyone heard of this problem?

Re: vintec dish

i've tried most lug nuts that look like that. I have a couple of old ones i found that work but i don't know what brand they are. they are the same height as all the others but have more seat at the bottom so the lugnut sets lower in the wheel. I had regular vintecs and never had this problem.

Re: vintec dish

Have you contacted Billet Specialties and asked them what will work?

Re: vintec dish

Did local parts stores not carry the Acorn lug nuts? I would have figured they would have had something that would work.

Re: vintec dish

all of the open end 14x1.5 3/4 socket size lug nuts i tried are barely too long. I need to take some pics so you can see what i'm talking about. problem should be fixed tomorrow.
