Re: Well how did we do?

I love the truck and the paint scheme. What are those seats from? They kinda look like custom buddy buckets.

The only thing I would have done different is the brackets on the motor. I bet they would look awesome the color of the roof. They kinda look like a bad color match. I'm not trying to be ugly just something to think about. I should be starting on my son's truck soon.

Re: Well how did we do?

You and Logan should be very proud, that is super looking truck. The bonus here is the bonding that you and Logan had building the truck. When Logan is 85 years old he will remember you and him doing this truck !!!!

yes they dont match perfect but thats the closest powdercoat i could get. and there is so much that is powdercoated that it kinda looks like it would if you maybe used anodized fittings instead of chrome. we thought it broke it up well. and i like powdercoated brackets because of the ease of cleaning??? good luck on your sons truck. marvin

the seats are on a buddy bucket frame that we sandblasted, the pan was rusted so i inlaid it with fiberglass and painted. the seats are from a latemodel jeep grand cherokee? that we removed the electric mech. and bolted on a set of factory buddy bucket slides. for the center we used the rear seat from the jeep and my upholsterer dissassembled and cut the foam into 2 pieces and glued it togather to match the shape of the buckets. i still have to figure out how to wire up the heated part of the seats.
