Smile hey guys

I've been reading for awhile now, just decided to get an account and start posting. I have a 85' GMC K2500 "High Sierra". The Front suspinsion is shot, as well as my steering componants. To make matters worse, nobody in town seems to carry parts for this truck. I eventaly plan on doing the 6.2 swap into it, but my main concern now is making it safe and reliable. So, I'd rather upgrade to a little stronger stuff. My question is, what do you think is the best site to get these parts? My experiance in buying parts online is limited to jeggs and summit. Riding around like its a lumber truck gets old.

Thanks

Re: hey guys

LMC and Classic Truck Parts of America carry almost any part you could ever need for a GM truck.

Re: hey guys

Alright. Thanks. Being my first truck, I'd really like it to last a long time.

Re: hey guys

You can also try searching your local Craigslist for parts. That's where I've found quite a few of mine.

Yeah, I've tried there. Only problem is, I live in wyoming. The craiglist craze hasn't managed to hit us yet, were always about 10 years behind the time.

Rockauto.com has almost every sparepart you need for steering and suspension

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.
