Can anyone give me some pointers on setting up my steering. I have a 58 cab mounted on a 55 frame with a mustang 2 front end, power steering rack. I think I can get away with two u joints but im stuck on lengths. is there a common set up.

For your u-joints on your gm column you will need
1inch 48 spline or 1 d/d 3/4 d/d
for your power rack 3/4 36 x3/4 d/d and if you are running headers
you will need a 3/4 u-joint and a 3/4 hime to keep it away from
the headers.You will need a piece of 3/4 d/d shaft and this you will
cut down when you do your install.We have all these parts in stock

You can use 3/4" wood dowel and duct tape to mock up the shaft. The tape would be where a u joint would end up. if you use more than 2 joints you need a hime joint for support.

maximum angle with Borgsen type joints is 30 degrees per joint. Make sure you get them syncronized correctly, Borgsen has good information on designing your shaft on their web site.
