I have the C4 dropmember with C4 suspension stuff up front with C5 brakes. I am running a CPP disc setup in the rear.

I have heard in the front, you have to run a wheel spacer in order to get the center cap to fit. Is this true?

Re: Boss 338 wheels-anyone here got em?

I read about these 1" rotors but what application did they come on? All i can find is 1.25. and do you have to change spindle too or just caliper?

You have to change spindle and caliper. Might be a good time to upgrade....or just buy some Coys and not worry about it.

Boss redesigned the wheel due to the clearance issues with the 1-1/4" rotors so there is no need for the spacer. They supposedly have the new wheel out now. I think that is one of the reasons for the current group buy that is going on.

Re: Boss 338 wheels-anyone here got em?

Do you know what i could get the light duty spindle and rotors off of? I've looked in the hollander interchange books and can't find what these were used on.

Re: Boss 338 wheels-anyone here got em?

My 84 has them. They were just a light duty suspension option. Your local parts store should have all the parts for the change if you needed it. However, since Boss has changed the wheel to accomodate the 1-1/4" rotor I wouldn't swap.

Thank you. Its my understanding the 18's have not been retooled yet. I have a behind the scene access to the local auto recycler so if we have them in stock i might as well.

i read this about the 18' wheels, that they were not fixed for the 1.25" rotors yet....only the 20's....

is this true, or have both the 18's and 20's been fixed for 1.25" rotors....

(my brother wants some for his 75 w/1.25" rotors)
