72 C/10 has found it's way to me(pics and video added)
Well putting in word at the scrap yard that I was looking for a 67-72 with a title paid off today! I got a call from my former boss that he had hauled in a 72. I got it for scrap price and the title is coming. It'll be delivered in a couple days! Plain Jane long bed C/10 with a 307 and three on the tree. Had been in the same family since new till yesterday. It's rough but fixable, West Coasters will disagree LOL. I'll post some pics after I get it here, I didn't have a camera when I went and looked at it. Need to get it running and cleaned up first thing!

Just thought I'd throw up a quick shot of my 72, I'll get some better ones when I get it here at the house.

Re: 72 C/10 has found it's way to me!
Hopefully it'll get here to the house in the next day or so, I was by there today with my trailer but I had bad luck with it and the driver's door on my 67 so since he's got a rollback and offered to bring it over I'm gonna let him! Figure I'll get it running and stopping and cleaned up first thing. Then start getting some repair panels, rockers, corners, cab supports and some floor metal. I think I've still got a rattle can of teal green around here so should match up pretty close.

Re: 72 C/10 has found it's way to me!
It was dropped off here last night. I had school all day and didn't get a chance to take any pics. I did take that ugly beat up camper top off and my youngest daughter gave it a wash job today and got rid of the moss growing on it. So not being able to stand it any longer I put in a battery and poured a little gas in the carb. As soon as I hit the key, it fired up! I unhooked the fuel line to the pump and ran a hose to a gas jug. The clutch feels really weak, so I'm sure that'll have to be replaced. I'm fairly sure the gas tank has a hole rusted in it, gotta pull the seat and find out for sure. I've got another tank available for free so alls good!

I like that color on a truck. Are you going to keep it that way?

Re: 72 C/10 has found it's way to me!
I like the color too, one of my favorites on these trucks. As long as it's in my name it'll stay that color, after it goes in my daughters name it'll be up too her. As promised here are some more pics I took today.

Great deal on a very original looking truck. Goodluck with it.
