5on5 to 5on4 3/4

i have a 1973-87 crossmember with djm 3" drop spindles, 1 1/4" thick rotors.. im looking to change to 5on4 3/4 lug pattern in the front. ive hunted around and found some info on it.. but doesnt seem i can find a straight swap rotor wise? or is machining and redrilling the only way with the rotors and spindles i have? anybody conquored this delema?? any help is greatly appreciated!

rotors off of the 72-73 BBC impala's are 5X4 3/4 and fit the 67-72 spindles. I would take your bearings down to the parts house and check to see if they are the same. I have dropped spindles also but they arent DJM.

Seems like the obvious question is why do you want to go to 5 4/3 bolt pattern?

because.. im pretty sure i have more options for wheels with the car pattern... and the rear is allready 5on4 3/4..

sweet! im going to give it a try this week.. see what im up against.. whats the width of the impala rotor?

1.25 is the thickness and you will have many more wheels to choose from with the car pattern. I'm running the impala calipers too.

I believe they are alittle over 12" in diameter.
