Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks guys. 72BlckButy for the most part I think it is, but there is a little bit of rust on the rocker panels right below the doors. If you look closely that area is black. It looks like the guy who owned it before my father-in-law tried to address the issue but I was looking at it yesterday and there is some rust there. I won't be able to address that issue myself until I have the money, skill, and/or a garage. I don't think it's bad but it would definitely have to be taken care of as well as some other small dings and dents before a fresh paint job but that will be the last thing I do.
I do have some plans in the works for her though and 72BlckButy your truck is a major inspiration for me. I'm gonna do 15x7 and 15x8 Rally wheels, just waiting on one 15x7, front disk upgrade with a 3.5-4" drop in the front and a flip kit in the rear for a 5" drop. I'm also gonna do an HEI dizzy(purchased), a rebuilt/remanufactured monojet, and a full tune up.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Trust me... I'm envious of that truck. It will make a great project.
Thanks for the kind words. I've had several trucks on the board that I worked from, so I am only continuing on the legacy.

Wow. I'm flattered. I don't know why you are envious though. I am sooooo envious of your truck. It is so clean! That interior is amazing!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
No, I have air bags all the way around. I'm running 15's all the way around. I have 2 20x10 Foose Legends. I'm thinking of switching the rims up with those, but it seems i have to cut and make more room for them. thanks for the comment. What page # is your truck on?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Your truck is awsome! cant wait to see it with the steelies. Dont get me wrong i love the centerlines, but i just wanted to change up the look a little bit. I sold my 1968 chevelle and I ended up with 2 brand new 20x10 foose legends. Hope the rest of the bunch dont mind but here is a pic of my project suburban.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Here is my 69 C/10, I got it from my grandfather about 25 years ago, he bought it new. It has the original 350 that has never been touched. I lowered it, painted it about ten years ago. Time for a new paint job. Behind it is my teardrop trailer, I built it a few years ago, my wife and I use almost every weekend in the summer, we have to run if we stop at a store or we get attacked by people wanting to see it.
This is my 72 GMC 4X4, I just bought it last November. Right now it is pieces in my basement waiting for some new paint. I should have it done in a week or two. It will soon be Hugger Orange. I just recieved my order from ClassicParts, I ordered almost everything in the catoalog. |

Look here... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ad.php?t=13693 for help on posting pics. Or you can do it the way I do it...
1. Hit "Post Reply" 2. Type your message (won't let you post a pic with no text) 3. Scroll down to Additional Options and select "Manage Attachments" 4. Under the heading "Upload file from your computer" select "Browse" 5. Select the file from "My Pictures" or wherever you have it on your computer 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 up to five times 7. Select "Upload" 8. Select "Submit Reply" You can also use the paper clip button after you have selected "Post Relply" to insert the pic in and..... around your text.
