1971 Cheyenne Glove Box Door-Excellent
I have a red glove box door off a 71 Chevy Cheyenne SUPER in excellent original condition for it's age. No wood grain nor cheyenne decal but complete otherwise. I wanted a plain one for my truck so I never used this one. $40 shipped.

Is the aluminum undinged?Pretty much perfect except for having the woodgrain stripped?Do you have the woodgrain gauge bezel?
Just for the record.that would be a Cheyenne Super or Sierra Grande glovebox door.Cheyennes and Sierras had plain doors.

It is undinged as you can see in the pic. It's a Cheyenne as far as I know. I know the truck was registered as a Chevy. Thanks

Tim's a great guy, I am sure if he said he will take it, he will come through. Sometimes life throws you a twist here and there, and he may just be out for a day or two. If he decides to pass, I will take it. Only after confirmation from Tim though. Trevor

Since this has been sold already I hope I am not stepping on any toes to offer the K-man this one. Need 30 plus shipping for a very nice one.

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Glove Box Door-Excellent
I'm guessing he was after the aluminum panel since he has a nice collection of glove box doors. Too bad the sale went the way it did. Sharpie

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Glove Box Door-Excellent
I do appreciate the offer.
Just a FYI for all who are reading this. The rules state "NO PM SALES",which is exactly what happened here. It`s pretty simple to see why it`s a rule. All parties involved need to know the status of a sale until a deal is made, not after.I was first responder. It took a day for a reply from the sender and a day for me to respond. We had a deal going on for all tosee. Why post "payment sent" if it`s no one else`s business?

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Glove Box Door-Excellent
I didn't realize that was against the rules. You had 3 days to let him know some sort of status on payment, and then he posted that it was still for sale. I just posted payment sent so you or anyone else that may have been wanting it would know it had been paid for. Would it have changed anything if I had posted in the thread that I wanted it instead of payment sent? No it wouldn't have. I would have still sent him payment yesterday.
I wasn't trying to do something dirty or under the table. When he posted it was still for sale I bought it. Maybe there should be a rule that buyers and sellers must communicate between each other and if one doesn't hear from the other in 2 days they have the right to move on. |

Re: 1971 Cheyenne Glove Box Door-Excellent
Nothing wrong with passing personal info thru pm but there was nothing in the for sale ad that said I'll take it if Tim doesn't.That means you had to cut in thru pm somewhere and make and offer. You just posted a item paid for after you cut in thru pm.Tim said I'll take it first and how do you want payment.Item should have been his he is a long time member with a good rep.
