Hello all old friends and new. Well i scored a 454 th400 transmission out of a 76 duallie extended cab. All for a 750 it runs and drives. I will be dropping this motor in to my 68 . Any advice from yall would be appreciated

Sounds like a good deal but as implied the MPG won't be to good.

Put a mini starter on it if you are going to have headers.
We had to use '75 big block motor mounts when we put a '73 454 in my '71 C-10 to be able to use the Hooker headers I had. Like said before gas mileage will not be that good, of course it depends on the rear gears and tire size. Good luck. Danny
